Operational event involving a Cessna Aircraft Company 180D, VH-MDK, 2.5km NW Brigalow, QLD on 29 September 1994

The pilot was conducting a landing in a paddock to retrieve a glider from an out landing. During the landing roll the aircraft skipped slightly for approximately 15 m then pitched forward, the propellor struck the ground and the aircraft came to rest inverted. The pilot said later that he may have relaxed prematurely after a reasonable satisfactory touchdown. The landing had been into a wind of about 10 kts.
