On climb from Perth Airport, while the aircraft was passing 6,000 ft, an icing system caution light illuminated and the flight crew decided to return to Perth. During descent, there was a stick-shaker alert, but the aircraft landed safely with no damage and no injuries to anyone.
The evidence collection phase of the investigation will include interviewing flight crew, reviewing operator procedures and maintenance records, and air traffic control communications and data.
