The ATSB is investigating a water taxiing incident involving an amphibious Cessna 208 aircraft, registered VH-ZWH, at Berowra Waters, New South Wales, on 29 June 2019.
After completing a water landing in the designated landing area, the aircraft contacted a stationary small hire boat while at taxi speed.
As part of the investigation the ATSB will interview involved parties and witnesses, and gather additional information.
A final report will be released at the end of the investigation.
Should a critical safety issue be identified during the course of the investigation, the ATSB will immediately notify those affected and seek safety action to address the issue.
