The ATSB is satisfied that prohibiting the use of all electronic devices while in vehicles on the manoeuvring areas adequately addresses the safety issue. In addition, the delivery of additional human factors training for all safety operations team members, including annual refresher training reduces the future risk of driver distraction. |
