Experience Co did not ensure sport parachutists received essential safety information about emergency exits, restraints and brace position, prior to take-off.
The ATSB welcomes the safety action taken by the operator in relation to this safety issue and has assessed that in combination it addresses the safety issue. It will ensure that parachutists will receive aircraft specific safety information on a regular basis.

Parachutists are now required to undertake an annual recertification process, which will include receiving an aircraft‑specific safety briefing.
A new video was produced which includes safety-critical information and has been used by the operator since May 2025.

The new video provides valuable safety information to sport jumpers who may find themselves in a survivable accident.
The video covers critical safety information for the C208 aircraft. In combination with their other safety action, which ensures sport jumpers receive a safety briefing on a regular basis, the ATSB is satisfied that sport jump participants will have received a briefing on brace position and the location of emergency exits including the main parachute door, which may assist them during an evacuation following a survivable accident.
