Link Airways updated its Scheduled air transport ground handling manual—to be used by Swissport for training dispatch coordinators— to include more details on the use of the propeller strap and strap extension, as well as the dispatch coordinator’s responsibilities in ensuring they are removed before engine start. Link audits were conducted on Swissport dispatches to ensure the procedures outlined by Link as contained in the manual were being correctly implemented. |
