| Action description | A number of enhancements to procedures were introduced as a result of this occurrence. In the first place, prior to departure, the landing weight from the aircraft’s load sheet is required to be entered onto the landing take-off and landing data (TOLD) card. Then, prior to establishing the approach speeds, the pilot monitoring is now required to call out the landing weight from the FMS, and the pilot flying will confirm this with the expected landing weight that is written on the TOLD card and call ‘landing weight checked’. |
