| Action description | The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has advised that it has reviewed the guidance in Civil Aviation Advisory Publication 5.81-1(0) Flight Crew Licensing Flight Reviews concerning the conduct of navigational exercises during an Aeroplane Flight Review. CASA will amend the CAAP to recommend that a navigational exercise is considered for inclusion in an AFR. The frequency of those navigational exercises will also be addressed. ATSB assessment of response/action The ATSB is satisfied that the action taken by CASA adequately addresses the safety issue. |
