- examination of procedural documents and process for ground towing of aircraft
- examination of personnel initial and recurrent training records and licences.
The continuing investigation will include further examination and analysis of:
- flight recorder and air traffic surveillance data
- available closed-circuit television (CCTV)
- further interviews of flight crew and interviews with air traffic control
- factors affecting safety critical decision-making.
A final report will be released at the conclusion of the investigation. Should a critical safety issue be identified during the course of the investigation, the ATSB will immediately notify relevant parties, so that appropriate safety action can be taken.
