The Transport Accident Investigation Commission of New Zealand (TAIC) is investigating a fuel‑related engine shutdown and diversion involving a Boeing 787-9, ZK-NZR, near Flinders Island, Tasmania, on 14 August 2025. The TAIC requested assistance from the ATSB.
