The ATSB is investigating a hard landing involving Robinson R44, VH-LGN, at Channel Point, Northern Territory, on 18 August 2017.

Passing 500 ft in a descending turn at approximately 50 kt, the pilot reported the helicopter began to vibrate. The pilot was unable to stop the vibration and conducted a precautionary landing.
