Safety issue description

The operator's cabin emergency procedures did not include specific crew actions to be carried out in the event of a PATR failure.

The operator advised the ATSB that emergency procedures have been changed to require the flight crew to make a direct passenger address in the event of a cabin depressurisation and failure of the PATR system.
