The student was performing his first soaring flight in a hang glider. At about 150 feet above the ground his hang glider and another collided. The student's hang glider sustained structural damage and dived to the ground. The student was fatally injured. Experts from the Hang Gliding Federation are investigating and reporting direct to the coroner.
