Aircraft Accident - McDonnell Douglas 369D Helicopter 8 km North of Murray Bridge in South Australia on 19 November 2008

A media conference discussing the progress of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this helicopter accident will be held today, Thursday 20 November 2008.

Where: Adjacent to the accident site via Mannum Road, 8 km N of Murray Bridge, SA.

Time: 3:00 pm Central Summer Time (local time)

Mr Charles Davies, Investigator-in-Charge (IIC), will discuss factual information known to the investigation team at this time and will outline the investigation process.

Any person/witness with information about the accident is encouraged to contact the ATSB on 1800 020 616.
